Staycie Sena
Orange County domestic violence lawyer Staycie R. Sena has developed one of Orange County’s most successful criminal defense firms. Ms. Sena’s practice emphasizes domestic violence defense and she routinely gets cases dismissed or reduced to nominal charges.
Ms. Sena is a former Orange County Deputy Public Defender, who later spent several months working on the special circumstances homicide against the actor Robert Blake, which resulted in an acquittal, or not guilty verdict.
Before commencing a career in criminal defense, Ms. Sena was an associate at the national law firms of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth. She has also written articles on legal topics, given talks on recent developments in the law and been an adjunct professor at the University of California at Riverside.
Ms. Sena graduated in 1996 from one of the world’s most prestigious law schools, Stanford Law School. Before attending Stanford, Ms. Sena graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from the University of California at Riverside with a degree in Philosophy in 1993. She was chosen as the Department’s Most Outstanding Student and received numerous academic awards and scholarships.
Ms. Sena is currently a member of the court-approved panel of attorneys at both the Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach Facility (Harbor Court) and the Harbor Justice Center, Laguna Niguel Facility (South Court). She is an active member of the Newport-Harbor Bar Association, the South Orange County Bar Association, the West Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange County Barristers, the California Public Defenders Association and the Stanford Professional Women of Orange County.
